really interesting and funny to see the scandinavian round-up. not much authentic scandinavian cooking though. yours is right on, and the tea ring and janssons fristelse, but what's up with all the pasta, and the rullepølse? :-) but who am i to complain, when i didn't even make anything for it.
looking forward to cuba, lene and i went to a reallly good cuban restaurant when we were i barcelona this summer. yum!

Lars, there just aren't enough Scandinavian food bloggers and even less who reach an audience outside the region. Start a Scandinavian food blog in english to spread the word because it's really funny when a half Asian chick who didn't even grow up anywhere near DK is the only one on the internet preaching the virtues of curried pickled herring and makeral guf :-)
i know, and have often considered 'going english'. only problem is time, and i can do it in danish in half the time :-( to reach a broader audience i would probably even have to correct measurements into cups and lbs and so on... even more time. but if someone wanted to pay me to do it, that's a different story. mayby i should apply for a grant :-) there's actually being invested a lot of money in marketing nordic cuisine in the rest of the world.
Lars, although you're super duper fluent in English, I understand it still takes more time than doing it in your native language. And let's face it, time is money. As for measurements, I wouldn't even bother converting. I might be the only American to say this but THE METRIC SYSTEM IS BETTER!
